Welcome to Web-LegOS 0.1

Retired

12/27/2005 -- updated links to reflect change from legOS to BrickOS, and only three-and-a-half years late, too... but more importantly, I'm retiring this page as it hasn't actually worked in I-don't-know-how-long and nobody has complained. I guess progress marches onward and the relatively few BrickOS programmers these days don't need a web compiler anymore. To that effect I've removed the submission form from this page.

We're Back!

11/19/2000 -- After a long hiatus due to a server rebuild, the Web-legOS compiler is finally back online. Thanks to all of you for your patience.

Web-LegOS is an HTML-based interface to the legOS (now BrickOS) operating system for the Lego Mindstorms RCX controller. Web-LegOS is in no way affiliated with the Lego Group, Mindstorms, or the BrickOS Project.

Using Web-LegOS is easy: simply paste your source file into the text box below, choose the language, select how you want to receive the s-record file that is generated, enter your e-mail address if applicable and click the "Compile" button.

Once you have the s-record file, download it to your RCX by whatever means you like, and you're all set. If you would like more information check the links at the bottom of the form.

Web-LegOS is currently using using the 03/30/99 snapshot of legOS 0.1 (along with GNU binutils 2.9.1 and egcs 1.1.1). Due to technical limitations there are no plans to migrate to legOS 0.2 at this time.
